Elizabethtown College is a small comprehensive college located in Elizabethtown, which is a borough in Lancaster County, in the US state of Pennsylvania, with nearly 11 900 people, living within its limits, as estimated during the 2000 census.
The college was established in 1899 and was founded by the members of the Church of the Brethren. It offers its students 56 majors and 92 minors/concentrations, providing a wide selection of programs in the liberal arts, sciences and professional studies.
Elizabethtown's athletic teams are known as the Blue Jays and they compete in NCAA Division III, Middle Atlantic Corporation and Commonwealth League, in various men's and women's sports. Their distinctive colors are blue and gray.
